We have kept in touch with Jorge and his team at Patagonia Golf and are now delighted to be able to offer an even more expansive and exciting escorted golfing excursion to Argentina, this time not only with Chile included, but the trip will include the option to visit the mighty Iguazu Falls, together with the magical experience of visiting one of the seven wonders of the modern world, Machu Picchu, in Peru. A Bonus Excursion to the Spectacular Iguazu Falls 

 

March 1: Meet and greet at the Buenos Aires International Airport and connection with the domestic terminal.

Meet and Greet at the airport and transfer to the LoiSuites Iguazu Hotel (5*) rest of the day at leisure.

March 2: Breakfast and departure for a full day tour to the the National Park.

Located on Iguazú river, which represents the frontier between Argentina and Brazil, the waterfalls are made up of about 160 to 270 falls, depending on the volume of water the river carries. They are higher, bigger and more beautiful than the Niagara Falls in the United States and the Victoria Falls in Africa.

The travelers can also see the waterfalls from below. The track leads among begonias, orchids, ferns and palms and one can see toucans, parrots and swifts and a myriad of butterflies of all colors.

During the excursions participants will board special boats that will take them, at high speed, to enjoy one of the most unforgettable experience in the region: the direct and wet contact with the mighty Iguazu Falls!

March 3: Breakfast and morning Private half day tour to the Brazilian Panoramic area of the Falls – In the afternoon return flight to Buenos Aires. Private transfer to your hotel.

March 4: Breakfast and start of main tour.

A Bonus Excursion to Wonderful Machu Picchu

 

March 17 : Flight from Santiago de Chile to Cuzco (Departure 14.50 – Arrival 16.15hs) where Inca and Spanish cultures intermingled, leaving many Spanish colonial buildings constructed on early Inca foundations.

March 18: Breakfast and private city tour & nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca-Pucara, Tambomachay, Cathedral & Qoricancha.

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from the hotel to begin the exploration to the nearby ruins: the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a colossal structure of enormous stones, carved and fitted together with incredible precision; Qenqo, the religious center; we will enjoy a panoramic view of Puca-Pucara, the red fortress and then we will visit Tambomachay with their water fountains.

Afterwards, our tour continues in the Imperial City, where we will stroll through the Main Square, where we will also discover the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries.

We will continue with a visit to one of the most impressive buildings of Incan Cusco: the Qoricancha (the Golden Temple) – a temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold.

Afternoon at Leisure – Overnight at Monasterio Hotel.

March 19: Breakfast and this day, we will visit the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Aboard a comfortable train Vistadome service, we will depart to the Aguas Calientes train Station, enjoying a spectacular view along the way.

Upon arrival, we will board a bus that will take us to the entrance gate of the Machu Picchu citadel. 

Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes, and the energy held in its enigmatic structures will take your breath away.

We will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as we explore this magical citadel.

March 20: Breakfast and transfer to the Domestic Airport of Cuzco, flight to Lima. Arrival and connection transfer to the International Airport.
