Day 1 – Sunday 28th February

Transfer duration: 1 hour.

Welcome drink and 3-course dinner included at the state of the art Camphor Venue.

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport.

Upon arrival, you will clear passport control and collect your luggage before meeting up with your driver in the arrivals hall.

You will be transferred in comfort to the Erinvale Estate Hotel and Spa located in Somerset West.

Day 2 – Monday 1st March – Erinvale GC

Non golfers – Half day tour of Somerset-West and Gordon’s Bay

Non golfers will enjoy a half day tour of Somerset West and Gordon’s Bay.

Gordon’s Bay is at the heart of the Western Cape.  A quaint seaside village which is sunny, being North facing we often get confused since we are used to South facing to get the sun but remember, here you are on the other side of the equator!

In the evening you can either join us at Stefan’s at Erinvale, the resorts unique fine dining restaurant at the hotel, take a taxi to the V & A Waterfront for your evening meal, or do neither and just enjoy the hotel’s other dining options at either Bloom, Magnolia Social Dining Lounge or the Oak Terrace, it’s up to you.

Day 3 – Tuesday 2nd March – Franschhoek Wine Tram

Transfer to Franschhoek, where you’ll board the Wine Tram for an unforgettable journey through the Winelands. Tram fee included. Lunch and tastings for own account. Return to the hotel and freshen up for dinner at nearby Millhouse Kitchen or maybe Lourensford Wine Estate (own account), return dinner transfers included.

Day 4 – Wednesday 3rd March – Cape Town

Table Mountain and V and A Waterfront

After breakfast you’ll explore Table Mountain and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront where you will be collected and returned to the hotel by private transfer.

Cape Town is a memory seekers delight with shopping and entertainment centers to satisfy the most arduous and demanding of shoppers; the picturesque V & A Waterfront with a variety of fine shops and restaurants is situated on Cape Town’s working harbour.

A visit to Cape Town isn’t complete of course unless you’ve ventured up the iconic Table Mountain.

Since the first person laid eyes on Table Mountain, it has exerted its powerful and charismatic pull, enchanting and drawing any and all who fall under its spell. After opening in 1929, the Table Mountain Cableway has taken over 16 million people to the top of the mountain.

After your descent from the mountain, you will be taken to the V and A Waterfront.  The rest of the day is yours to take advantage of all on offer.

One of Cape Town’s biggest tourist attractions, the Waterfront, evokes images of the early activities of the harbour. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and museums.

You can visit the Two Oceans Aquarium where you will enjoy a fascinating underwater world. The Maritime Museum focuses on the history of shipping from prehistoric times to the present day.

Or, take a boat trip to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent his time in jail for 18 years.

Alternatively, take a helicopter ride and soar above the city’s skyline, wine valleys, wonderful Atlantic Coast and Table Mountain.

Why not visit the Cape Town Diamond Museum.  Located near the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island, the Cape Town Diamond Museum is for anyone interested in the history of Africa’s diamonds.

If you are looking to spend some money then simply shop till you drop in shoppers paradise. As the locals like to say when discussing where to shop, ‘the Waterfront probably has it’.  It’s a relaxed area that offers the best in local art, ceramics, jewellery, clothing and more, all with a strong sense of local flair.

If none of the above suits you, then just eat, eat, eat! From quick bites and pubs with a view, to some of the city’s best fine dining, the Waterfront genuinely has something for every palate. There are over 100 restaurants and food stalls to choose from.

Day 5 – Thursday 4th March – De Zalze Golf Course

Nestled in the heart of the winelands, within the parameters of the renowned De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate, lies the 18-hole championship De Zalze Golf Course. The perfect test for all golfers, this state-of-the-art course boasts an excellent mix of parkland holes as well as the Oak-lined Blaauwklippen river which winds its way through the Estate and comes to play at various intervals.

Celebrating a rich history, the origins of our championship golf course dates back to the mid-1990s when renowned golf course designer Peter Matkovich was first commissioned to design an 18-hole course stretching over three farms on the outskirts of Stellenbosch. With courses such as the Steenberg Golf Course in Cape Town and Arabella near Kleinmond already under his belt, Matkovich eagerly turned De Zalze Golf Course into a golfing experience like no other.

Stellenbosch’s historical center is a “living museum” known for its well-preserved, historic architecture and beautiful oak lined streets, which earned it the nickname “Eikestad” (Oak Town).  The area features a charming, organic layout with traditional buildings constructed from local materials, a legacy from the town’s founding in 1679. Visitors can expect a blend of historical buildings, like the Schreuderhuis, and a vibrant street culture with shops, events, and a lively atmosphere.

Day 6 – Friday 5th March – Pumba Private Game Reserve

Check out and transfer back to Cape Town Airport before taking the 90 minute flight to Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. 

You then transfer in luxury coach to the wonderful Pumba Private Game Reserve for two nights, staying in Msenge and Impala Luxury Chalets.

Check in and freshen up for the afternoon game drive, followed by dinner at the lodge.  Our stay at Pumba is all inclusive.

Encounter Africa’s Big 5

The idea which led to the formation of Pumba Private Game Reserve & Spa was conceived by Hotelier Trevor Lombard and wildlife enthusiast, Dale Howarth. This culminated in the creation of the reserve in July 2004. Both Trevor & Dale were born and bred in the Eastern Cape and their respective backgrounds complemented each other perfectly in establishing what Pumba Private Game Reserve & Spa is today.

Immediately after its creation, steps were taken to rehabilitate and restore the indigenous fauna, some of which had not been present since 1825. These steps ranged from the removal of all traces of previous farming activities to the reintroduction of a variety of game, the most exciting being the Big Five, as well as Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and White Lions. Lastly, various species of antelope were released onto the reserve to complete the restocking process.

The Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course was designed by the legend himself and, as the first on the continent and still only one of three in Africa, remains a favourite amongst professionals, seasoned players and those who enjoy a challenging yet fun game now and then.

Non-golfers half day shopping and oyster tasting experience at Thesen Island.

Return to Pezula and go on a complimentary afternoon excursion to Pezula’s private beach. Return dinner transfer to 34 South Restaurant in Knysna for the best seafood on the Garden Route (own account).

The Knysna Elephant Park (est. 1994) was the first facility in South Africa to house and care for orphaned African elephants. Over the last thirty years, the park has cared for and raised more than forty elephants. These animals include relocated animals, orphaned calves, and elephants rescued from culls. Some have become part of the resident herd, others have moved onto other reserves and facilities in the Western and Eastern Cape, depending on their personalities, bonds with other animals and welfare needs.

The course offers spectacular views of its namesake, the Outeniqua Mountains, from every hole. Cancelling before 10/12/2026 a cancellation fee of 33% of the package total will be charged

Cancelling on or after 10/12/2026 a cancellation fee of 100% of the package total will be charged

In the event of clients not being able to travel due to bona fide medical reasons, we will be able to change dates (at an extra charge). A valid medical certificate will have to be provided in this event.
